Mahtab is a dedicated and experienced music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. She offers instruction in piano, xylophone, recorder, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. Her teaching style blends structure with creativity, aiming to build a solid technical foundation while nurturing each student’s personal expression and enjoyment of music.
Mahtab holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and has completed advanced pedagogy training through the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Canada. She specializes in classical, pop, and modern styles, and provides both in-person and online lessons from her home base in North Vancouver.
Whether guiding a beginner, preparing students for RCM exams, or helping someone simply enjoy playing their favorite songs, Mahtab tailors her approach to meet individual goals. She also offers engaging children's music classes with a focus on xylophone and recorder for early learners. In addition to teaching, Mahtab is an active vocalist in a local choir and regularly performs in recitals and musical events.
