Adult Musical Theatre Foundations: Vocal Technique & Ensemble Program

Following the strong response to our inaugural session, Cadenza Music & Art Academy proudly presents Round 2 of our Adult Musical Theatre Foundations Program.

This 10-week intensive is built for adults who seek serious vocal growth within a structured and artistically disciplined environment.

Vocal Technique (Primary Focus)

The core of this program is the development of a technically sound and sustainable singing voice. Participants will refine:

• Breath support and control
• Resonance and tone clarity
• Vocal range and flexibility
• Musical phrasing and interpretive nuance
• Projection and stamina for live performance

This is not casual singing — it is focused vocal training grounded in healthy technique.

Vocal Ensemble Development

Musical theatre demands strong ensemble skills. Participants will train in:

• Harmony singing and part independence
• Blend, balance, and dynamic awareness
• Musical precision within group settings
• Confident participation in duets and ensemble numbers

Ensemble discipline strengthens both musicianship and stage confidence.

Stage & Acting Integration

While vocal development remains central, sessions also incorporate focused stage work to ensure complete performance integration. Participants will work on:

• Character embodiment through song
• Emotional authenticity and storytelling
• Physical presence and movement
• Scene-based application within musical repertoire

The result is a performer who sings with both technical strength and dramatic intention.
