Here are some details:

Esmail, born in 1980, is a musician and music educator with a Master's degree in Energy Economics. He began his musical journey in 1992, studying the Santur (Persian hammered dulcimer), and later started learning the Setar (Persian long-necked lute) in 1998.

Throughout his musical development, he studied Santur under the guidance of distinguished Iranian masters, including Peyman Azarmina, Saman Zarabi, and Majid Kiani.

Following the introduction of the Handpan to Iran, he developed a strong interest in the instrument. Through research, exploration, and an in-depth study of its characteristics and musical possibilities, he designed and developed a specialized educational program for Handpan instruction.

Throughout his artistic career, Bahiraie has performed in numerous concerts covering classical, folk, and fusion music, and has participated in various music festivals. He also served as a jury member at the first Shemiranat Music Festival in Tehran.

He is a member of the Vancouver Iranian Music Association and the Iranian House of Music.

In addition to his musical performances and teaching activities, he has explored the connection between music and meditation, presenting performances that incorporate regional and folk music traditions to create immersive musical experiences.

His artistic and educational work focuses on performing and teaching Santur, Setar, and Handpan, developing innovative teaching methods, and exploring the relationship between music, cultural traditions, and meditation.
