Calling all young musicians!

Whether you’ve just begun your musical journey or have been playing for several years, we invite you to join us for a special free ensemble workshop at Cadenza Music & Art Academy.

This exciting event introduces the Cadenza Ensemble Program, where students discover the joy and power of making music together.

During the workshop, students will explore the fundamentals of ensemble playing — learning how musicians listen to one another, follow musical direction, and collaborate to bring music to life as a team.

Participants will:

• Experience the fundamentals of ensemble playing
• Meet and collaborate with other young musicians
• Learn how group music-making strengthens musical skills and confidence
• Enjoy a fun and inspiring day of music together

This workshop is open to young musicians of all levels up to age 20.

Ensemble Placement

Participants will be placed in small groups based on age and playing level, allowing beginners and more advanced musicians to learn comfortably and enjoy a supportive ensemble experience.

Our goal is to create groups where students can collaborate, grow musically, and enjoy the process of making music together.

Future Performance Opportunities

This workshop also introduces our Cadenza Ensemble Program, where selected students may continue playing together throughout the year.

Ensembles may have opportunities to perform in:

• Cadenza Academy recitals and concerts
• Special ensemble performances
• Collaborative projects where students may perform alongside professional and semi-professional musicians

The program is designed to help students build musicianship, confidence, and performance experience in a collaborative setting.

How to Apply

Because space is limited, participants will be selected through a short video submission.

To apply, please send:

• A 1–2 minute video of yourself playing your instrument
• Your name, age, and instrument

All playing levels are welcome — from beginners to advanced students.

Once we review submissions, selected participants will receive an invitation and we will announce the final workshop date in April.
